فكرة البحث: تنطلق فكرة هذا البحث من مراجعة إبستمولوجية نقدية لمدرسة كوبنهاغن في الدراسات الأمنية، لبحث مدى تأسيسها لمنظور معرفي مغاير للوضعية، أم أنها تعد امتداداً مرناً لها؟
الهدف: يهدف البحث إلى تفكيك المرتكزات الفلسفية والمفاهيمية للمدرسة (كالأمننة، والقطاعات، والجمهور) للكشف عن ارتهانها الضمني لأطر العقلانية الغربية "الويستفالية" ونموذج الفاعلية العاقلة والنزعة النظامية التصنيفية.
المنهجية: لتحقيق هدف البحث، وظفت الدراسة أداتي التحليل الخطابي النقدي والتحليل الإبستمولوجي المقارن لتفكيك البنى اللغوية والمعرفية الضمنية في نصوص المدرسة. النتائج: في ضوء ذلك تتمثل النتيجة المركزية للبحث في أن مدرسة كوبنهاغن لم تؤسس لقطيعة إبستمولوجية تامة مع الوضعية، بل تمثل نموذجاً لـ "الوضعية المتأخرة" (Late Positivism)؛ إذ نجحت في دمج التحليل اللغوي للخطاب الأمني وبعض الافتراضات العقلانية الموروثة عن التقليد الوضعي، الأمر الذي أبقى فهمها للأمن مرتبطاً بأطر تصنيفية ومعيارية تحدد ما يُعد طبيعياً وما يُنظر إليه بوصفه استثناءً.
الخلاصة: خلص البحث إلى أن "ما بعد الوضعية" الكوبنهاغنية تمتلك مرونة استيعابية عالية مكنتها من إعادة تدوير النقد التفكيكي وتوظيفه لتحديث بنية العقلانية الغربية ذاتها، مما ترتب عليه إقصاء إبستمولوجي وبنيوي للممارسات والنظم الأمنية غير الغربية التي لا تتسق مع منطق "أفعال الكلام" النخبوية.
