Journal Funding Sources

Regional Studies Journal (RSJ) is published under an open access model and is issued by the Center for Regional Studies at the University of Mosul.

1. Article Processing Charges (APCs)

The journal relies exclusively on Article Processing Charges (APCs) as its sole source of financial support for publishing, editorial management, production, and services associated with the journal’s operations, in accordance with the fee policy published on the journal’s website.

2. No External Funding

RSJ does not receive dedicated financial support from any governmental or non-governmental entity other than the revenues generated from APCs.

3. Separation of Financial and Editorial Decisions

The journal is fully committed to maintaining a strict separation between financial considerations and scientific or editorial decisions. APCs and other financial considerations do not influence the evaluation of manuscripts, the peer-review process, or decisions regarding their acceptance or rejection.

4. Independence of Scientific and Editorial Decisions

All scientific and editorial decisions are made independently, based on established academic standards and the peer-review procedures adopted by the journal.
