RSJ and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
RSJ supports scientific research aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and encourages the publication of studies addressing sustainable development issues in the humanities, social sciences, politics, economics, law, and related fields.
The journal pays particular attention to goals that are directly relevant to its scope, notably:
- Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities – by promoting research on urban and regional development, local governance, public policy, community resilience, cultural heritage protection, and the sustainability of local communities.
- Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions – by supporting studies on peace and security, conflict prevention and resolution, the rule of law, justice, good governance, anti-corruption, and the development of effective, accountable, and inclusive institutions.
- Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals – by encouraging interdisciplinary scientific collaboration, knowledge exchange, and academic, regional, and international partnerships that contribute to scientific research and sustainable development.
Other SDGs may also be relevant to research published in RSJ, depending on the nature, discipline, and methodology of each study.
