Crossref (DOI Policy)

Regional Studies Journal (RSJ) assigns a permanent Digital Object Identifier (DOI) to all accepted and published articles, facilitating the identification, access, and citation of scholarly works.

1.    DOI Assignment A DOI is assigned to each article published in the journal after completion of the acceptance, production, and publication procedures in accordance with the journal’s established publishing system.

2.    Permanence of the DOI The DOI remains permanently associated with the published article and provides a persistent means of accessing the official version of the article, even if changes are made to the journal’s website structure or the article’s webpage address.

3.    Use of DOI in Citations The journal includes the DOI of each article on its article webpage and in the relevant publication metadata. Authors and researchers are encouraged to use the DOI when citing articles published in RSJ whenever it is available.

4.    Updating DOI Metadata The journal maintains the accuracy of the metadata associated with its DOIs and updates it when necessary to ensure that each DOI remains correctly linked to the relevant information of the published article.
